We attended the Wild Goose Festival at Tata in Hungary at the weekend. It was a great event, very well organised, there was something for everyone, and it was great fun. Several 1000 people visited, from keen birders, to nature-lovers, to the curious general public. There were lots of children, too, and many of them seemed to particularly like the birding ringing session. This Great Spotted Woodpecker was very popular!

Tata Wild Goose Festival
We attended the Wild Goose Festival at Tata in Hungary at the weekend. It was a great event, very well organised, there was something for everyone, and it was great fun.
