European Bee-eaters (Merops apiaster) are one of Europe's most colourful and 'exotic' bird species. This one is in Hungary where there are many colonies, and this year seem to be doing very well.
The Grey Partridge (Perdix perdix) has declined greatly in many countries. This one was snapped at the roadside in the Kiskunsag, Hungary, the other day.
