Arizona proved to be a great success. My main targets were Gilded Flicker, Arizona Woodpecker and Elf Owl, and all were found and seen. Arizona is a superb birding destination. Here is a shot of Arizona Woodpecker from Cave Creek Canyon, near Portal.
